| LISA CUBIN Sadly on November 12, 2005, Lisa Cubin, born February 1, 1970, was taken suddenly and unexpectedly. Predeceased by her father Barry in 2002. Survived by her adored 3 year old daughter Olivia, mother Lin Cubin and Dave, sister Michelle Cubin (Brad), 2 year old nephew Cole, nana Eileen Cubin, as well as many cousins and adoring friends from Whiterock, England, Winnipeg and the United States. Lisa grew up in Winnipeg and made her way west at the age of 23. She worked in Whiterock over the years and met an abundance of friends who will miss her dearly, she had a special place in the hearts of everyone she met. Lisa loved children and helped many families with caregiving in her special way. She enjoyed being amoung friends and loved the holidays. After having her daughter in 2002, she devoted all her time to being a stay at home mum for Olivia and being the primary caregiver of her nephew Cole. She went back to work in this past fall and was excited and happy for her future with Olivia. Lisa always put Olivia first and wanted the best for her. In lieu of flowers, we will be setting up a trust fund for Olivia at Van City Saving, Whiterock in Lisa's memory. A celebration of Lisa's life will be held at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre 14831-28th Avenue, Surrey, BC, Tuesday, November 22 at 1:00 p.m. Lisa will be remembered for her outgoing personality, her sentiment for occasions, cards and the simple things in life and will be greatly missed by Olivia, Cole, Mum, Dave, Brad and Nana and all her friends and family!! |
