| DONALD SAWATZKY It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Donald Anthony Sawatzky, beloved son of Jake and Jody, on Thursday, August 24, 2000. Don was born August 4, 1972. He loved music and playing his guitar. Don was a very good person and will always be remembered for his kindness and caring of others. Dalton, his dog, was his best friend. Besides his parents, Don will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his longtime girlfriend Jane Friesen; grandmother Maria Sawatzky; aunts and uncles, Henry and Helen Voth, Norman Brazier, Wendy and Bob Hatch, Cheryl and Tim Sauls (Florida) cousins, Marnie, Jamie, David and Sean; special friends, Tim, Janice, Dustin and Jeremy, as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Don was predeceased by his sister Melanie, maternal great-grandparents, grandparents and paternal grandfather. Service to be held at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., on Monday, August 28, at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Norman Voth, Dons cousin, will take the service. Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, August 27, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, and prior to the service with cremation following. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, Man., R2L 1X3, would be much appreciated.
