He will be fondly remembered by the many special friends that he made along the way. Christian was predeceased by his birth mother, Lucille Wiens (Molgat) in 1991. Christian's journey was marked by a diagnosis of Cystic Fibrosis at the age of 6 months. Throughout his journey, Christian was always an amazing person. His personality was such that he never let his disease stand in his way. His never ending optimism and strong will led him to achieve many of his goals despite his challenges. Christian enjoyed counseling at summer camps, participating in Tae Kwon Do - achieving his black belt, hunting with his Dad and brothers, attending church activities and spending time with his family and many friends. Christian enjoyed promoting the cause of C.F. in being a Spokesperson for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and starring in their public service announcements. A funeral service for Christian will be held on Wednesday November 23 at 1:00 at Redeemer Canadian Reformed Church, 15 Bates Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
