ROBERT RAHN (published on April 03, 2006)

ROBERT RAHN 1960 - 2006 Suddenly, on March 30, 2006, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Robert Rahn, loving son, brother and father, went to be with his Lord and Saviour at the age of 45. Predeceased by his father Hans, he is survived by his daughters, Janice and Kristin. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Gertrude; sisters, Monika (Rick) St. Pierre, Angela (Rob) Allan, Amanda of Edmonton, Eva (Paul) Olfert; nieces and nephews and many relatives and friends. Robert was born on December 28, 1960 in Winnipeg. After graduating from Daniel McIntyre High School, he chose broadcasting as his profession. Robert worked at many radio stations as a news broadcaster and had spent the last few years at NCI FM. God blessed him with a wonderful baritone voice which he used many times. From a young age he loved playing piano, photography, and recording music. Robert also had an entrepreneurial spirit, which was evident in his own business, A Masterfulvoice Productions. He lent his talents to a variety of radio and television commercials and was a versatile voiceover artist. He was a sensitive and caring person with a love for family. His quick wit would be present in nearly every conversation. He especially loved German traditions and culture. A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, April 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 59 Academy Rd. with Rev. James Scholz officiating. Burial to follow service at Brookside Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc. 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey Street entrance. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., Wpg, MB. R3L 0K6. There will always be a heartache And often a silent tear, But always special memories Of days when you were here. Remembering you is easy We do it every day, But missing you is the heartache That will never go away. Neil Bardal Inc. 949-2200
