MARY SKWARCHUK (published on April 22, 2006)

MARY SKWARCHUK (nee TROCHANOWSKI) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mary Skwarchuk beloved mother, grandmother and babcha on April 20, 2006. Mary was predeceased by her husband Bill in 2004. She will be sadly missed by her children, Dan (Shirley), Deanna (Brian), Sonja (Phil), Lorraine (Vic); grandchildren, Sheri (Paul), Dan, Lisa (Doug), Patrik (Kathy), Leanne (Derek), Christopher, Robyn, Christine, Ryan, Sarah and Jessica; and great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Darrian, Kaleb, Jayden, Kaitlyn, Carley, Roan and Nathaniel. She is also survived by her dear sisters, Anne and Olga (John), many nieces, nephews and friends. Mary was born in St. Martin, MB on September 14, 1921. Mom's life revolved around her family, sharing her love and guidance. She was especially proud of her grandchildren - they could do no wrong in her eyes! Her great-grandchildren were held dear to her heart with her unselfish love and gentleness. The family will forever treasure the fond memories of special times spent together. Mary welcomed everyone into her home with open arms. She was always there to listen, lend a helping hand or just chat. She enjoyed, baking, gardening, watching CNN (Larry King) and going to the Luther Home day program. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Fr. John Melnyk as officiant. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Her grandchildren are proud and honoured to be pallbearers. The family would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion for our mom. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mary's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Love You, Mom. VICHNAYA PAM'YAT CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
