AGNES COMACK (published on April 22, 2006)

AGNES COMACK Peacefully, on Sunday, April 16, 2006, at the Misericordia Health Centre, Agnes passed away at the age of 92 years. Agnes was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1913. She immigrated to Winnipeg with her family in 1929. Only three days in Canada she began to work with the T. Eaton Company, a labour of love for almost 50 years. These years were very special to her as all who knew and worked with her would attest. She was an avid bowler until she was well into her eighties. Agnes was also an active member of the Eaton's Retirement Club as well as the sons of Scotland and the Eastern Star Organizations. She enjoyed hobbies such as traveling, needlepoint and flower arranging and loved to socialize. Agnes is survived by her sister Millie Coutts (Charles), brother Hugh (Kay) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Emma and sisters, Jean and Jessie. A memorial service will be held at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway on Thursday, April 27 at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. Internment will take place at the Elmwood Cemetery at a later date. Agnes's last days were happy and the family wishes to greatfully acknowledge the Misericordia Health Centre staff for the wonderful care they provided. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice in Agnes's memory. Please bring a tin for the Bin Help us support Winnipeg Harvest Thomson Funeral Home 669 Broadway 783 - 7211
