| BARBARA LILLIAN COLQUHOUN (nee HENSON) March 6, 1930 November 1, 2007 With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our dear mum, Barbara. Barb was born in Chadwell Heath, England and was the youngest of three daughters born to Thomas and Lydia Henson. She came to Canada as a war bride September 21, 1947. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Cal (Everett James) September 3, 1995. She will be sadly missed by her children Larry (Henrietta Pawluk) of Calgary, Brenda, Michael (Karen) of Winnipeg and Trish Hubbard (Wayne) of Calgary. She will always be adored by her grandchildren Melissa, Cameron and Jennifer (Justin) and great-grandchildren Nyla and Sam. Barbara will be deeply missed by her sister Dorothy Clarke in Essex, England, sister-in-law Betty Colquhoun in Kimberley, BC, her very good and longtime friend Al Buffie in Winnipeg, former daughter-in-law Beverley Colquhoun, and close family friends in Winnipeg, the Riffel family. A special thanks to Sandy and Ola of the Palliative Care Team and the Palliative staff from Riverview Health Centre for making Mum's final days comfortable. Thank you to Dr. Harding, Cindy and the entire staff at Manitoba CancerCare. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating Barbara's life will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberly Avenue on November 7, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Bruce Gelhorn will be presiding.
