Albert was born May 16, 1916, the eighth of nine children, and was the last survivor to William and Edith Perkins, Lavenham pioneers. He wed Olga (Nachine) in 1937 (died 1972) and began farming in Lavenham area. Albert was blessed again in 1974 when he married Bea Robson and together they enjoyed many years together until her passing in 2005. They enjoyed spending time at Rockwood Army and Navy and later at the Senior Club at Ashbury Place where they enjoyed cards and darts and also bowling at Academy and Polo Park Lanes. Albert also enjoyed tending his beautiful roses and tomatoes at their Beaverbrook Street home. Albert is survived by his two sons, Earl (Islay) of Calgary and Larry (Anne) of Vancouver, stepsons Jack (Pat) Robson, Wayne (Marj) Robson, Gary Robson and stepdaughter Sandra Elder. He is also survived by his three grandchildren Jennifer (Gary) Thorne of Calgary and their two children Chelsea and Laurin; Mark (Carolyn) Perkins of Calgary and their two children Hadley and Nolan; and Dean (Nicki) Perkins of Calgary. He is also survived by seven stepgrandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
