| LIONEL GERARD BARNABE Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at the Emerson Personal Care Home, Lionel Barnabé was reunited with his Creator. Lionel leaves his wife Noella Barnabé (née Damphousse); his daughter Monique Saurette (Richard); his son Jean (Nathalie Cuillerier); and his grandchildren, Justin, Eric, Shaun, Louis, and Zoé. He will be sadly missed by his sister Madeleine Patenaude (Arthur); his brothers, Arthur, Hervé, and Marcel; his sisters-in-law, Isabelle Barnabé Duval and France Barnabé; along with many nieces and nephews, friends, and members of the Damphousse family. Special thanks are extended to the nurses and staff at the Emerson Personal Care Home and Dr. Munsamy, for their care-giving and compassion. The funeral mass will be celebrated at the Letellier Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 5 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation will have taken place. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations made to the Emerson Palliative Care Unit, or to CancerCare Manitoba especially for bone cancer, would be greatly appreciated.
