| EDWARD CARLSON Suddenly on Friday, December 21, 2007, just two days short of his 78th birthday, Edward passed away in the company of his family. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Margaret; sons, Grant and Steven and daughter Cheryl. He also leaves behind grandson Logan; granddaughters, Samara and Shawnessy (Kurt); five great-grandchildren; sister Lorraine of Wisconsin and brother Howard of Arizona. Edward retired 18 years ago from his job as a carman at C.P.R. after 38 years of service. In recent years he and wife Margaret have made their home Gimli where he was an avid golfer and quite active in the seniors circle. Edward will be missed by both family and friends. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Gimli Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
