PAT WAWRUCK (published on July 12, 2008)

PAT WAWRUCK In the comfort of family and close friends, peacefully Pat passed away in the early hours of July 10, 2008. Pat gracefully accepted her illness in a dignified manner with constant concern for her beloved family, and respect for her devoted medical teams. Her gentle way and generous spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her devoted husband Brian of 27 years, and her treasured daughter Candice (Paul). Pat is also survived by her parents Steve and Ann Kashuba, brother Brian Kashuba (Marie), sister Brenda Robertson (Jack), sister-in-law Debbie Margolis (Ron), and numerous nieces and nephews. Pat enjoyed her careers with the Okotoks RCMP and most recently at Saan. She always appreciated the goodness of others and took life's challenges in stride. Her greatest pride and joy was creating memories with her precious daughter Candice, who also became her best friend. Pat's caring and tender nature earned her the title of mom to many of Candice's friends. Pat and Brian spent many memorable evenings playing canasta with family and friends. Pat truly enjoyed sharing laughs at the bingo hall with special friends Darlene and Linda, and only Pat and Darlene could enjoy telephone TV . She shared her Bomber pride with family, and was always 'fired up' enjoying the games. Pat had a tremendous love for animals, and in quieter times was an avid reader. We are extremely thankful to Dr. Maxwell and the oncology angels at the Victoria Hospital for Pat's compassionate care. The family would like to extend our special thanks to Christine, Pat's nurse, for giving us comfort during her final hours. To all those who visited, and kept Pat in your thoughts and prayers, we are grateful. In keeping with Pat's wishes, a private celebration of life will be held in her honour. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, or a charity of your choice. Forever in our hearts, you will always be with us. CHAPEL LAWN 885-9715
