LORRAINE HEBERT (nee COTE) August 4, 1936 - July 10, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of their mother Lorraine at the age of 71. After a brave and courageous battle with her illnesses she has gone to her banquet feast with our Lord. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her children, Louise (Marcel) Dumont, Marc (Patsy), Martin (Jocelyne), Gerald (Diane). Her 11 grandchildren whom she adored with all her heart, Amanda (Eric), Carrie (Kris), Nicolas (Charlene), Matthew (Lianne), Jordan, Natalie, Andre, Alain, Nicole (Dalain), Corey, Ashley. Lorraine was so proud to become a first time great-grandmother to Maxime on April 1, 2008. She also leaves to mourn and to cherish her memories her sisters, Flo Paul and Marie MacLeod and her brother Gilbert (Linda), and one brother-in-law Terry Doherty, along with the many nieces and nephews that also loved her very much. Lorraine was predeceased by her husband Roger, parents Alfred and Grace Côté, sisters Muriel, Yvonne and Doris and her brother Leon. Lorraine was born in Spiritwood, Saskatchewan. Lorraine met and married Roger in St. Malo, and in 1964 settled and made a home to raise their family in IledesChênes. Lorraine worked for many years at the local restaurant. Lorraine, along with her sisters purchased a restaurant in St. Malo called Chez Côté. After several years of owning a restaurant she then moved on to work at Foyer Valade from where she retired. Prayers will take place on Monday, July 14, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Christ the King Church, 847 St. Mary's Road. Viewing will begin at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday July 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. also at Christ the King Church with Father Renato Pasinato presiding. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family extends a most heartfelt thank you to the staff on 3E Palliative Care Ward at Riverview Health Centre. You truly are our Earth Angels. To all the Home Care staff that cared for mom in her time of need and to Dr. Abdulrehman for all his years in caring for her well being. In addition we are very grateful to the overwhelming support from family and friends. Mom, we so lovingly thank you for your gift of faith and courage that you shared with everyone that came across your path. The precious memories that you leave us with is our greatest joy.
