WILLIAM KADOBIANSKY (published on August 23, 2008)

WILLIAM KADOBIANSKY Unexpectedly but peacefully, Bill passed away while he slept on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the Concordia Hospital. Leaving to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 64 years Martha; daughters Nadia (Fred), Shirley (Larry); granddaughters Jillian (Sel), Jayne (Jeremy), Ashley, Dana (David); and his precious great-granddaughters Brooke and MacKenzie. Bill was born in Sandilands, Manitoba. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces during the Second World War. After the war, Bill owned and operated a pulp and paper business and a grocery store. Later, Bill was employed by the Manitoba Department of Highways as a Highway Traffic Inspector until his retirement. Bill and Martha enjoyed traveling and spending time with family, especially with his grandchildren and great-granddaughters. Bill's life revolved around his family and he was the centre of our world. Every one of us admired and respected him and it was an honour to call him my husband, our Dad and Grandpa. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 505 Watt Street (corner of Watt St. and Munroe Ave.), with Rev. Fr. Michael Winn presiding. Entombment will follow in Holy Angel Mausoleum in Green Acres Cemetery.
