MARIE BELL (published on August 27, 2008)

MARIE BELL With profound sadness and deep sorrow the family of Marie Bell (nee Combot) announces her peaceful passing on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at the Victoria General Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Left to cherish her memory are her family Henriette (Ross), Dianne (Rick), Georgie (Don), Judy (Craig), Tim (Tangi), Audrey (Paul) and her dear sister Georgette (Paul). She will also be greatly missed by her 29 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Quentin and Sarah (Ella, Ava), Chantal and Jason, Jayson and Norma (Keenan, Nic, Jade, Ava), Tiffany (Austin, Chassidy), Chad, Niomi and Barry (Carson, Niahm), Kim and Troy, Sharlie and Dale, Shawn, Tiu and Wally (Tiesen, Alixzander), Jena, Samantha, Cole, Dillon, Shayne, David, and Jeff, as well as several sister and brothers in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband of nearly 50 years Bill (Boogie), her son David, her son-in-law Dale, Aunt Effie, as well as six brothers and one sister. Grandma Boogie had a big heart, and loved to joke and tease. She enjoyed big family dinners with a nice glass of wine, and took great pride in her gardens. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren, and has left us with very special memories. It is with deep sorrow that we let her go into the hands of the Lord, and to spend the rest of her nights dancing the Tennessee Waltz in the stars with Boogie. Mama thank you for who I am The funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Adolphe Roman Catholic Church on Friday August 29 at 2:00 p.m. We would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses at the Victoria General Hospital. In lieu of flowers if desired donations may be made in her name to Cancer Care Manitoba. MORRIS FUNERAL HOME Phone 746-2451 Toll Free 1-866-746-2451 morrisfuneralhome@mts.net
