Rosalie leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Yvonne Gura, Judie (Wayne) Holmstrom, Gisèle (Bob) Hirayama and Louis Boux (Mary); grandchildren, Roman Jr., Gregory, Rachelle, Kathryne, Kenneth, Jeffery (Andrea), Brennan (Lisa) and Griffen (Sarah); great-grandchildren, Isabella, Franchesca, Morgan, Katelenn, Ashleigh, Isabella Koko and Bryce; sisters, Pauline Pratte and Jeanne Guigne; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Rosaire, her parents François and Pauline Simon, sisters Alexandrine Druwé, Augustine Hébert and Yvonne Hébert. Rosalie was born in St. Boniface on Youville Street. While a young woman she caught the eye of an eager ambitious young man, Ross Boux ... the rest is history. Their life was a busy one running a successful business and raising a growing family. After moving and renovating 14 homes in Winnipeg and Florida, they came to retire in Winnipeg. In 1988 when her beloved Ross died, Rosalie who was a proud independent woman lived on her own until the time of her death. Rosalie was an artistic talented woman who loved to paint, sew and read. Rosalie gave back through her volunteer work at C.W.L. St. Bernadette's Parish. Rosalie would follow golf on TV and loved visiting with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She recalled with great fondness her times travelling with Ross, doing renovations and gardening, living in Florida with family visits. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of 6A at the St. Boniface Hospital, Dr. Fontigny for their care and compassion. Funeral Mass will be held of Monday, September 1, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral, 190 av de la Cathédrale.
