| CAROL DALE GREEN (nee KANOWICZ) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend Carol Dale Green (nee Kanowicz) at her home on August 12, 2008 at the young age of 58. Carol is survived by her daughter, Shannon Lalbiharie (Deva), grandson Casimir, brother Robert Kanowicz, her dog Bentley and many more relatives and friends. Carol was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB and was an active sports player excelling in volleyball and basketball as well as cheerleading. She thoroughly enjoyed coaching her daughter's baseball team and attending as many sporting events as she could. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and the odd cooking lesson or two. In 1998 Carol moved to London, ON where she found a love for motorcycles. She worked at Canada Revenue Agency London, ON, where she developed lifelong friendships and touched the hearts of many people: Karen, Mubeen, Karlene, Laura, Lisa and Mark to name a few. Carol had a vivacious personality with a smile that would always light up a room whenever she walked in as well as being a beautiful person inside and out. When her grandson was born, her unconditional love shined through even more. She treasured her time that she spent with Casimir, whether it was in person or over webcam. Carol was filled with a passion for life, clothes and laughter. She loved to laugh and most of all she loved her family and friends with all of her heart and soul. Her spirit continues to live on in each and every one of us, as she has embedded her footprints in all of our hearts forever. She will be missed dearly by everyone that knew her personally or even knew of her. If the Lord takes one of our friends, it's to turn them into the stars of hope we see in the heavens. Service to be held at St. John Cantius Parish, 846 Burrows Avenue, Winnipeg, MB on September 4, 2008 (Thursday) at 3:30 p.m. |
