EDWARD (TEDDY) HAROLD KNOWLES JACKSON (published on September 13, 2008)

EDWARD (TEDDY) HAROLD KNOWLES JACKSON September 22, 1929 - September 9, 2008 After a courageous battle with cancer, on September 9, 2008 Dad passed away peacefully joining the love of his life Audrey, sister Joyce, and brother Roy. Dad leaves to cherish his memory his granddaughters Jennifer and Colleen (Derek), whose support and love through his illness leaves no room for I wish I had regrets. Thank you for taking care of Grandpa when he needed you. Also left to remember, daughter Susan (Paul); son Scott (Heather) and grandchildren Jessica (Vinny), Barbie, Rob, great-grandchildren Elijah and Emma; sister Vera MacLaren; sister in-law Honor Hollingshead; Wendy and Bob Zimmerman; Earl Lamirande; nieces and nephews and their families in British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba. Dad resided in St. Vital his entire life. Upon completion of high school, he joined the T. Eaton Company Limited, employed as a watch-maker for 42 years. He enjoyed golf and was a Windsor Lodge Mason and member of Khartum Temple 101 Unit. Over the years he formed lasting friendships with both co-workers and fellow Masons and Shriners. Thank you Pearl McDowell, Andy and Lorna Moffat and Evelyn Allam for your enduring friendship and support. The family would also like to acknowledge Dad's lifelong friends; we are grateful you were part of his life. We are thankful for the doctors, nurses and caregivers at Riverview Health Centre, Palliative Care, Victoria General Hospital and Health Sciences Centre, and friends who visited at these institutions. In keeping with Dad's wishes, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Riverview Health Centre Palliative Care or to a charity of one's choice. Mom and Dad, you will be in our hearts and memories forever. We love you and are so happy you are both together again. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E.J. Coutu Co.
