LYLE EDWARD BUSS 1932 -2008 It is with great sadness that the family of Lyle Buss announce his sudden passing at home, on Monday, September 22, 2008 at the age of 76. Left to treasure his memory is his loving wife of 55 years, Doreen; his daughters, Debra (Paul) Floyd, Lee Ann (Karl) Olafson, Holly (Gino) Allegro and son Lyle Darrin (Eunice) Buss. As well as his grandchildren; Shannon, Scott, Corrie (Daniel), Andrew, Kristi (Mike), Kaila, Samantha, Shane, Dallas and two great- grandchildren, Ava and Branden, his aunt Tillie Buss and his three brothers Marshall, Randy and Collin, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Lyle was born on August 8, 1932 in Carmen, Manitoba. As a young man he moved to Winnipeg and started his first job at Jeanne's Bakery. After many different jobs, he finally chose a career in the automotive industry. He held positions at Consolidated Motors, Stadium Ford and finally retiring from Landau Ford Lincoln Sales. Lyle enjoyed his many years of curling, hunting and fishing. He loved the time he spent at Delta Beach with his family and friends. Lyle enjoyed his many trips to the casino as well as his daily coffee meetings with his special friends. He was a member of the Assiniboia Unit of the AN AF and looked forward to participating in the weekend meat draws. Lyle was very proud of his family and treasured the time he spent with them, especially teasing his grandchildren or visiting their favourite ice cream shop. His family and many friends will forever sadly miss him. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lyle's memory to the charity of one's choice. The tears we shed, we wipe away But the ache in our hearts will always stay. CHAPEL LAWN 885-9715
