| NATALE (LINO) VISENTIN May 17, 1929 - December 29, 2008 Lino, beloved husband of Irene passed away at Charleswood Care Centre on Monday, December 29, 2008. Besides his wife he is survived by his son, Renaldo; daughters, Barbara and Angela (Tony); grandsons, Tristan and Toryn. Lino was born in San Fior di Sopra, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1949 at the age of 20. He worked as a shoemaker at Canada West Shoe Mfg. until 1961 when he became a hairdresser and worked at several different locations in Winnipeg until he retired in 1987 when he took up oil painting as a hobby and left us many beautiful pictures to enjoy. His greatest love was opera and he was privileged to sing in the Manitoba Opera chorus from 1975 to 1985. A memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. with Mr. A. Johannson officiating.
