JESSE MICHAEL STEVEN VANDERMAAR On Friday, January 2, 2009 Jesse Vandermaar suddenly passed away as the result of a tragic snowmobile accident, at the age of 25 years. He was born on April 8, 1983 in Winnipeg. He is predeceased by his brother Dustin, grandmother Lilo and opa Steve. He will be greatly missed and leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rachael, his mother Karin (Miles), father Henry, oma Teenie Vandermaar, grandfather Ted (Rae) Monkman, stepsisters Jody, Trisha and Faith, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and especially his Uncle Peter with whom he shared many adventures. He will also be dearly missed by Rachael's parents, Andre and Sherri, her brothers Mike, Eric and Bill and sisters Lena and Amy, who loved him like a son and brother. His close friends were too numerous to count and he cherished every one. Jesse and Rachael met in 2000 and married in June 2008 at their Oakville home. Jesse loved fishing, camping, biking and hanging out with friends. He enjoyed his work at Hazco as a heavy equipment operator. He made many friends among his co-workers. Jesse truly enjoyed his life. His goofy sense of humour always made everybody laugh. His laughter and smile will never be forgotten. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with a reception to follow. Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Salvation Army. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
