After his retirement from the forces he joined the Salters Livery Company in London, England as a Beadle. His impeccable manners and distinguished bearing made him ideal for this role of managing the functions that took place under his direction at the club. Larry retired in 1988 when he immigrated to Canada where he and Mai were married. Special thanks to Dr. Ramgoolam and the very caring attentive staff at the Golden Door. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Suite 200, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 0K6. At Larry's request, cremation and a private family service took place on Friday, January 9, 2009. A celebration of Larry's life will be held at a later date in England.
