STEPHEN WOLFE January 9, 1922 January 15, 2009 Stephen Wolfe, beloved husband, passed away at the age of 87 years on January 15, 2009 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Besides his wife Joyce, he is survived by daughter Patricia (Marshall) Cassie, Grandchildren, Robert (Melanie), Jeffrey (Tracy) and Melanie, Great-Grandchildren Matthew, Gillian, Dylan and Chanel. He also leaves to mourn his passing; sister Helen Pidwirny, brothers, John (Ada), Mike (Edith), Peter (Doreen) as well as many nieces and nephews. Steve was born in Winnipeg and married Joyce on November 4, 1944. He worked as a Produce Gardener for many years and retired as a Warehouse Foreman for Phillips Cables. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and loved helping his friends and family any way he could. Steve enjoyed watching sports. Hockey and football were his favorites. He was an avid bowler and belonged to the I.O.F. Family was very important to Dad and he enjoyed many gatherings to celebrate special occasions. We will always remember him on his John Deere tractor mowing the lawn in his picture perfect yard. We could always depend on him for good advice. We love you and will miss you. Pallbearers, Robert Cassie, Jeffrey Cassie, Ken Sawchuk, Ed Pidwirnyj, Grant Wiseman, Jim Prokopchuk. The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to CancerCare, Seven Oaks, Concordia (Oncology), Homecare nurse Gail and Dr. S. Wong. Prayers will be held Sunday, January 18 at 6:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Funeral Service on Monday, January 19 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Chapel with Rev. Fr. Isidore Dziadyk, OSBM officiating. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stephen's memory to a charity of one's choice. 586-8044
