| PEARL HORBATIUK (nee KULBABA) It is with great sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and sister on January 14, 2009 at Seven Oaks General Hospital in Winnipeg at the age of 87 years. Born in Sand Hill, Manitoba in 1921, Pearl was predeceased by her husband John Horbatiuk, parents William and Ella Kulbaba, brother Nick (Nicholas) Kulbaba. Pearl is survived by her sons, Terry (Brenda) Horbatiuk, Jeffrey (Arlene) Harris, her grandchildren Sean and Shannon Horbatiuk, Jonothan and Matthew Harris, brother Ed (Geri) Kulbaba, sisters Edna (Paul) Saluk, Ethel (Stanley) Godoski and Verna Chambers, with numerous nephews and nieces. Special thanks to Dr. Findleyson and the staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital for their warm and gentle care of our mother. Prayers will be held on Friday, January 24, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home with interment and reception to follow. Our mother asked us not to send flowers or a contribution to a charity in her memory , but to take time in our daily lives to be kind to each other . Rest in peace, Mom.
