LUCILLE DOROTHY MCGREGOR (published on January 21, 2009)

LUCILLE DOROTHY MCGREGOR (nee KULBATSKI) May 19, 1919 - January 5, 2009 Peacefully, at age 89, Lucy McGregor, left our world to start on the next leg of her journey. Predeceased by husband Bill (William D. McGregor) in March of 1978, son-in-law John Hamm in February 1981, second husband Louis Minkus, and son Clifford John McGregor in December 1994, she leaves behind daughters Isabelle Hamm of Vancouver and Carolyn Duchak of Winnipeg. Grandchildren Mona and John Blake, sons Rhys and Sterling Blake; Cheri and Sean Best of Vancouver, son Justin and daughter Sienna; Michael, Leah and son Casey Hamm of Plumas, Maureen and Trent and son Max Schwaluk of Calgary; Naomi Duchak and Kurtis Shumka of Toronto; Marshall and Margaret McGregor, daughter Jodi and sons Mitchell, Jessie, Marcus, and Mason of Carmen; Tanis and Troy Forbes of Kamloops, BC; and Cameron and Anna McGregor, son Kade and daughter Roka of Winnipeg. She is survived by one sister, Louise of Winnipeg, many nieces and nephews and sisters and brothers-in-law. Lucy's life was celebrated at a 2:00 service on Friday, January 9, 2009, at St. Dominic's church in Neepawa, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Third Crossing Manor, Gladstone, Manitoba; St. Dominic's Church of Neepawa; or the charity of your choice. Many thanks to the staff of Third Crossing Manor in Gladstone for their support and quality of care that Lucy received during her stay there.
