TERRY ALBERT YAREMKO (published on January 21, 2009)

TERRY YAREMKO October 18, 1952 - January 17, 2009 On January 17, 2009, at the age of 56, Terry Yaremko passed away at home with his family by his side after a hard fought battle with cancer. Terry possessed a great zest for life; he loved to laugh and had an amazing ability to infect everyone around him with that laughter. He enjoyed entertaining family and friends at home with great food, drinks and music. Most often, if he wasn't telling his stories and jokes, he could be found singing and playing his guitar. Terry worked and accomplished much for the Canadian Pacific Railway in the 38 years of service he gave them and was greatly respected. He was involved with numerous committees and groups within the workplace and community. Terry's greatest pride and passion was his family. Terry was predeceased by his father Albert; mother Pauline, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He leaves to celebrate his life, his wife, best friend and soulmate of 33 years, Sharon; daughters, Lesli and Stacey; and his granddaughters, Niky and Brianna, who were his pride and joy. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Jean; sisters-in-law, Phyllis and Alyson (Rob); very special Uncle Larry and Aunt Joyce; adopted son Cory (Coralie and Ella); along with special friends, Bill and Val; numerous friends and extended family. Terry loved flowers however, those wishing to do so may make a donation in Terry's name to the South Eastman Palliative Care Program, P.O. Box 88, 354 Prefontaine Ave., Sainte-Pierre-Jolys, MB R0A 1V0. Cremation has taken place and celebration of Terry's life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, 1 Green Acres Lane at Hwy #1 E. inside the Perimeter. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
