Blanche and Norman moved from the Rosedale area to Selkirk, Manitoba in 1942. Here they raised their seven children. Throughout the course of her lifetime, she not only cared for her seven children but she also worked outside the home in a number of jobs and finally retired from Shoppers Drug Mart in l983. The family would like to thank the staff at the Maples Personal Care Home for their many kindnesses and excellent care over the past four years.
