VIOLET HELEN PAUL (WERNER) (nee DELVE) Peacefully on January 27, 2009 at Riverview Health Centre Violet Paul passed away at the age of 92. Violet was predeceased by her mother and father, Gordon and Annie Delve; husband Bill Paul; John Plantje; Adolph Werner; son Randy Paul; and brother Bill Delve. She will be lovingly remembered by sons, Bill (Rose) Paul, Gary (Vi Hasiuk Paul) Paul, Harry (Linda Bowles) Paul; daughter Marilyn (Roger) Fontaine; grandchildren, William (Tikita), Leanne (Jeff Stoesz), Jason, Debbie (Norbert), Cindy (Terry), Linda, Tanis, Tiffany (Ram), Jocelyn (David), Tara (Ron), Candice (James); great-grandchildren, Michael, Daniel (Lacey), Jeremy, David, Megan, Arron, Chloe, Thomas, Abram, Oliver, Sage Ann, Nadia, Ethan, Makenna, great-great-grandchildren, Angelina, Hunter and Morgan; sister and best friend Gladys Harding and Pearl McPhail; special niece Annie (Barb) Harding; sister-in-laws, Edna Burr, Isabel Delve, and numerous nieces and nephews. Violet was born in Norwood on July 10, 1916. She met Bill Paul, the love of her life, and married him on July 15, 1939. They moved to St. Vital in the early 40's where they owned and operated Paul's Greenhouses with brother Jack Paul until 1976. She was a member of UCW at St. Vital United Church. They spent a lot of their summers down at the cabin at Falcon Lake with their children and grandchildren. Vi loved to travel in her spare time, with Hawaii being her favorite. A celebration of Vi's life will be held on February 20, 2009 at Meadowood United Church, 111 Dakota Street at 2:00 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined; donations may be made in Vi's name to a charity of one's choice.
