JAMES LLOYD THOMSON April 5, 1922 - January 15, 2009 Veteran of the Second World War, RCAF retired from British American Bank Note Company, Ottawa; Past Master Chaudiere Lodge #264. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim (Tommy) Thomson on January 15, 2009 in the Pinawa Hospital, Pinawa, MB at the age of 86. Loving husband of 66 years to Audrey (predeceased on December 29, 2008). Dear father of Richard Thomson (Vivian) of Pinawa, MB, Judy (John) Moore of Newmarket, ON, Betty( Ken) Desjardine of Brampton, ON. Much loved Grandfather to Clem Thomson (Darcy) of Winnipeg, Cam Thomson (Mona) of Calgary, AB, Bruce Thomson (Karen), Ian Thomson (Jen) all of Winnipeg, MB; Amanda Moore of Newmarket, Shaunna (Shawn) Finnegan of Peterborough, Stephanie Copeland (John Burchell) of St. Catharines. Proud Great-grandfather to Travis, Cody, Ethan, Lane and Liam Thomson, and Hailey Copeland-Burchell. The youngest child of the late James and Ida (Gintie) Thomson (nee Cummings). Predeceased by his sisters Lillian Moodie (Howard) in 1952 and Marjorie Morrice (Charles), December 24, 2008. Jim and Audrey were born, wed and lived in Ottawa until they moved to Pinawa, Manitoba in 2004. He was a gift to us all and will be greatly missed as much as he was cherished. The funeral was held Saturday January 24, 2009 in Ottawa. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Resident Council, Whitemouth Personal Care Home, Box 160, Whitemouth MB, R0E 2G0. Condolences may be made at
