ANNE KOZAN (published on February 10, 2009)
| ANNE KOZAN (nee SAWCHUK) Anne passed away at her home in Selkirk, MB, on February 8, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Mom was born in Rossdale, MB, November 8, 1927 and married Fred there August 27, 1947. She dedicated her life and her love to her family; daughter Debra and her children, Jennifer, Raymond and Savannah; son Glenn (Alexandra) and his children, Alexis, Yvonne, Kara, Laura, John and granddaughter Brooke. Mom is also survived by two wonderful siblings Donnie Sawchuk of Winnipeg and Diane Olmstead (Jack) of Calgary as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by Dad in 1982, parents Mary and Phillip Sawchuk, brothers Tony, Russell and sister Pauline. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, February 11 in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, February 12 in the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Peter Chorney officiating. Thanks to pallbearers; Fred Geisler, Ralph Girling, Mike Hawrysh, Ed Kowalchuk, Richard Pinarsky and Bob Stefanyshyn. Special thanks to Selkirk Ambulance; Jack, Dyan, Cory, Justin, Lome and Luke for your outstanding response and support. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Selkirk Palliative Care Unit in Anne's memory. Mom and Dad dance with the angels the worries are over.
