ROBERT HAROLD KENDEL (published on February 10, 2009)

ROBERT HAROLD KENDEL Peacefully but suddenly at home on February 6, 2009 Robert (Bob) Harold Jan Kendel left to be with our Lord. He is survived by his wife, Lynn the love of his life as well as his pride and joy - his three children Tamara, Chad, and Amber. It is with no less love and adoration we will remember and miss him forever. Also survived by his loving mother Dora and predeceased by his father Harold (October 2, 2000). He was the consummate family man. He was an amazing man, an exceptional man! He was loving, selfless, kind, generous, friendly, hard working and eternally devoted to his family. He was always available and never too busy to go to any one of us whenever we needed him... almost to the point of spoiling us. He dated the love of his life for four years and married her June 1, 1974. They then spent the next 34 precious years sharing everything life offered. Most important was the birth and the upbringing of their children, all of whom he adored. He was the best Dad ever! I love you dad, I'm going to miss you. He loved to travel. We went on some of the most wonderful trips alone then with the whole family and then just the two of us again. He loved to fix and to build things and he did an amazing job with every task he took on. In his quiet times he enjoyed watching a good movie. He worked for many years at Burns then left to drive truck for Krulicki and Son. Here he found he really enjoyed driving his semi-trailers! He was most recently employed with T T Trucking, where he was happy to go to work. He enjoyed driving in the city as well as going on short highway trips because he could have it both ways - home every night with his family as well as time on the highway. Above all he was My Man , and Dad to his children! We will miss you terribly forever. Although he touched the lives of many, respectfully it is the family's wishes that the ceremony will be limited to his immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart Stroke Foundation. I'll love you for always I'll like you forever As long as I'm living My Man you will be. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
