BOB ZAPOROZAN (published on February 14, 2009)

BOB ZAPOROZAN On February 11, 2009 our Heavenly Father called our beloved Bob to be with Him in His kingdom. Left to cherish Bob's memory is his soulmate and best friend of 30 years, Silvia; his pride and joy, his children, Orysia and Taras; his mother Mary; brother Ron (Donna); many relatives and friends. Bob was predeceased by his father Dmytro. Bob had a passion for his Ukrainian culture and nurtured it through music and dancing. He was an instructor for many Ukrainian dance groups throughout Winnipeg and rural Manitoba. He also enjoyed performing for people and sharing his love of music with others. Bob was a member of many choirs; primarily Hoosli, Macenko, and the choir at Blessed Virgin Mary Parish. After many years of singing in these choirs, he developed a passion for conducting and had the privilege to act as conductor for these choirs. Bob always had a positive attitude and loved to make people smile. Thank you to the oncology unit at Seven Oaks Hospital. Special thanks to Father Volodomyr Bashutskyy and to all those who kept Bob in their thoughts and prayers. Panakhyda will be sung on Monday, February 16, 2009 at 7:00 pm at Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 965 Boyd Ave. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 10:00 am also at the Church. There is only one path to Heaven. On Earth, we call it Love. VICHNAYA PAMYAT KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
