ANDREW (JIM) HARTLE Peacefully with his two daughters by his side, each holding a hand, Andrew passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at the Victoria General at the age of 90 years. Remaining to forever cherish Andrew's memory are his wife Christine; son Mark and his daughters Nina (Laurel), Wendy (Robert); grandchildren Justin, Storie, Landin, Kaylee, Erin and Shane; his brother Albert; twin sister Carrie; sister Sara; sister-in-law Frances as well as many friends. He was predeceased by his parents Eathen and Ethel Hartle, brothers Ernie, Henry, George, Joe and sister Minnie as well as his son Eathen Hartle. Andrew was born on April 10, 1918 in Stonewall, Manitoba. He joined the Army at the age of 22, serving overseas in the Second World War. He returned home as a soldier and continued in the armed forces for 25 years, also worked for 10 years as a security guard at St. Boniface Hospital, then later as a commissioner at the Kapyong Barracks. Andrew enjoyed coffee with friends and family and watching sports on T.V. Andrew was extremely proud of his grandchildren. A celebration of our father's life will be held on Monday, February 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Theater Room of Riverwood Square, 1778 Pembina Highway. There is additional parking in the rear of the building. The family would like to thank all the staff and all our dads' new wonderful friends at Riverwood Square. Your friendship and caring attitude helped make our father's last four months truly wonderful. Peace and rest are yours forever Dad. We love you and miss you greatly. Your daughters
