EDITH BERNADETTE BOUILLET Peacefully, on February 11, 2009, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother at age 74 passed away with her children by her side. Edith was predeceased by her son Joseph, granddaughter Sara Mari, parents Camille and Andree Bouillet, sister Genevieve Schultz, brother Michel Bouillet, and the father of her children Mundi Goodman. Edith leaves to cherish her memory children Cam (Margaret), Michelle (Shawn), Greg (Shelly), grandchildren Karl, Jaymi, Alexe, Blain, Rob, Ryan, Andrew, great-grandchildren Ben and Brayden; sisters Odile Cuthill of Red Deer, AB, Gabrielle Smith of Waco, Texas, Denise (John) of Morton Grove, Illinois; brother Herbert (Audrey) of Kelowna, BC, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Edith was born on March 28, 1934 in Meadow Lake, SK. She spent her childhood travelling throughout Canada with her family finally settling in Makinak, MB. Edith helped out on the family farm until she left home. She worked and lived in Houston, Texas with her sister Gay and brother-in-law Charlie for a short period of time. After returning to Canada, Edith worked numerous jobs and then moved to Gimli and worked for the post office at the air force base. Edith got married in 1959 in Gimli and devoted her life to her children. SAFELY HOME I am home in Heaven dear ones. Oh so happy and so bright. There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain and grief are over, every restless tossing passed. I am now in peace forever. Safely home in Heaven at last. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Gimli. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba or a charity of your choice. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.
