CONSTANCE ANNIE (CONNIE) HENRY (PARK) May 23, 1927 - February 5, 2009 It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma. Connie passed away at Golden West Centennial Lodge in the arms of her loving family at the age of 81. Mom will be sadly missed by her children Carol (Brian), Val, Jeff (Donna) and her cherished grandchildren, Bruce, Kim (Tyson), Keith and Carolyn and her cherished great-grandchildren Caiden, Kennedi, Carmen and Kylie. Connie was the youngest child of John and Sarah Alice Park. She was predeceased by her loving husband Angus, May 18, 2004. She was also predeceased by her ten brothers and sisters, William, James, Tom, Roy, Alice, John, Pearl, Richard, Frank and Dorothy. Mom was born and raised in Winnipeg. She met her beloved husband Angus in school, they married on July 10, 1945. She was a homemaker and worked at Sanford Evans. She was active with the United Church Women, served as a parent volunteer at her children's schools; in later years she belonged to the Good Neighbors Club in Dauphin and was an active member of the Victory Chapter No. 6 Order of the Eastern Star. Mom has lived in Winnipeg, Hudson Bay, SK, Dauphin and returned home to Winnipeg in October 2005, where she resided at Golden West. Mom leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family. She loved and cherished her children and grandchildren and took great pride in all the accomplishments of her family. She will now be reunited with her loving husband Angus. The family would like to thank the fabulous staff at Golden West for the three years and four months of compassionate care. You are truly Angels of Mercy. You made Mom's last years truly comfortable. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Golden West Centennial Lodge at 811 School Road, The Alzheimer's Society or the Diabetes Foundation. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Ave. Interment at Brookside Cemetery. FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS.
