| TOLLY PEARL RIGGS (STOYKA) January 30, 1920 - February 22, 2009 Tolly slipped away peacefully on February 22 with her daughters at her side. She is survived by her daughters, Bev (Derek), Judy (Blaine); grandchildren, Damon (Keri), Ryan (Christine), Kelly and Kevin; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Keira and Caylee. She also leaves a brother John in Winnipeg and sisters, Lena in Ajax, ON and Esther in Calgary, AB. Tolly was born in Dauphin, MB but lived her adult life in Winnipeg. She loved to bake, make jams and always found time for all the other chores that needed doing from roof repairs to painting. She loved garage sales, bargain hunting, bingo, music and dancing. She was always full of energy and on the go. She truly enjoyed her time at Riverside Lions and at Poseidon Personal Care Home where staff made her feel like the special woman she was. She will be missed. In accordance with her last wishes, Mom has been cremated and a celebration of Mom's life will be held at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or to a charity of your choice. |
