| ALLAN G. DENNIS July 26, 1922 - February 26, 2009 After a long battle with cancer, he leaves to mourn his wife Verna of 64 years, daughter Jane, husband Jim, and four grandchildren, Allison, Connor, Cole and Jennifer. He was predeceased by his son Larry. Born and raised in Saskatchewan he met Verna while working at the bank in Melfort. Allan served in the Second World War in the infantry on walking tour as he referred to his time overseas. Upon his return, he excelled in the insurance industry working for 21 years in Montreal with Sun Life, then in Winnipeg with Monarch Life until retirement. In later years he often referred to himself as a retirement specialist for over 25 years; he and Verna split their time between Canada and Florida. Allan lived life with enjoyment and zest making many friends along the way. He was loved and will be missed. Private interment to take place this summer in British Columbia.
