ELSPETH MARY NEWTON Elspeth Mary Newton, daughter of the late Lorn and Georgina (Nanton) Cameron, passed away peacefully, with her family present, at St. Joseph's Health Care Centre, Guelph, on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Theodore (Ted) Newton (1981); dear mother of Lorn and his wife Karen of Lynden, Ewen and his wife Glynda of Ottawa, Mary and her husband Donald DeGrow of Winnipeg, and the late James (1995). Survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Elspeth was a lifetime Anglican. Member of St. James the Apostle for 40 years. Past National President of the Mothers' Union and Recipient of the Order of Niagara. A funeral service will be held at St. James the Apostle Anglican Church, 86 Glasgow St., N., Guelph on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow, with private interment.
