| UNA MADELINE HAZEN (IRVINE) On March 31, 2009, after a lengthy illness, at 75 years of age, we lost an amazing person and mother from our lives. Born in Manitoba (nee Livesley), she was living in White Rock, BC at the time of her passing. Survived by her husband Leith (Valerie and Tyler); son Grant Irvine (Susan), grandchildren, Kathryn and John; daughter Lisa Heaven (Kirk), Clayton and Ryan; sister Iris Clausen (Larry), nieces, nephews and cousins. A longtime employee of the Bank of Montreal in Winnipeg and until her retirement in Kamloops. Una was a competitive curler playing on teams that won the Manitoba Ladies Championship in 1977 and BC Senior Ladies Championships in 1994, 1995, 1997, that all participated at the National Championships. There will be no service by request. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Una's name to the Shriners Hospital for Children, in care of Khartum Shrine Centre, 1155 Wilkes Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3P 1B9. |
