GERARD REMILLARD (published on April 04, 2009)

Gerry left us suddenly on March 29, the day after his 84th birthday. He has gone to find his wife Denise (Kenny) who has been waiting for him up above since November 2005. Dad will be missed dearly by his four sons and their spouses, Paul and Louise (Ottawa), Marc and Aline, Denis and Lise, as well as Jean and Alida. His seven grandchildren will always affectionately remember Pepère, their Boxing Day goaltender, and his four great-grandchildren will learn to know him through the memories and stories of the others. He leaves his sister Rita (Steve Persons), as well as his sisters-in-law and Sunday evening card partners, Blanche (late Arthur Jutras), Gertrude (Eloi Bauche), Armande (late Louis (Pit) Kenny); his brother-in-law Bernie Collins (late Jeannette Kenny, Ottawa) and many nieces and nephews and good friends, in particular Marcelle Bagan. He was predeceased by his brother Léo (late Raymonde Tremblay) and his sister Jeanne (late Louis Deniset). The family will receive family and friends following the funeral services which will be held at the Précieux-Sang Church, 200 Kenny Street, on Monday April 6 at 10:30 a.m. Interment of the ashes will be at the Saint-Boniface cemetery.
