HEATHER MCCOLL After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Heather McColl on March 30, 2009. Heather was born in Winnipeg on October 27, 1955. She was predeceased by her father Thomas in 1989. Following this she began her 33 year career with the Federal Government. Heather started at Transport Canada and later accepted a position with Parks Canada in Victoria BC. In 1987 she successfully completed the Certified Management Accounting program. Heather then transferred to Calgary for a few years and returned to Winnipeg to be closer to her family. Heather continued working for Parks Canada until 2007 and, for the last two years, she worked for the Canada Border Services Agency. Heather will always be remembered for her generous and caring nature. She was a devoted daughter and wife, and loved to spend time with her family and friends.
