LETIZIA FERRIELLO (published on April 17, 2009)



LETIZIA FERRIELLO (nee VASSALLO) On Monday, April 13, 2009 Letizia Ferriello passed away at the age of 86. Letizia was born on May 15, 1922 in San Felice a Cancello, Caserta, Italy. She is survived by her three children, Felice Ferriello (Adrianna Colasuonno) and his late wife Natalina, Giovanni Ferriello (Tina), and Adelina Bozzelli (Tony). As well as her brother Pasquale Vassallo (Rosa), and numerous nieces and nephews in Italy; grandchildren Teresa Ferriello-Rasera (Fabrizio), (late) Michael Bozzelli, Tony Ferriello (Tanya), Marco Ferriello (Sabrina), Maria-Teresa Ferriello and Daniela Bozzelli; great-grandchildren Joseph, Natalina and Jonathan Rasera. Letizia was predeceased by her parents Francesco and Giovanna Vassallo, husband Antonio Ferriello, Sister Angelina Ferriello, daughter-in-law Natalina Ferriello, and grandson Michael Bozzelli. Letizia will leave a great void in all our lives, but her generosity, unselfishness, and everlasting love for family and friends will remain with us forever. The family would like to thank everyone for their support and acknowledge the kind and excellent care that Letizia received from the doctors, nurses and staff on the 5th floor south at Victoria General Hospital. In addition we would like to thank Fr. Sam Argenziano for all his love and prayers. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. with Father Sam Argenziano as celebrant. A viewing will take place one-half hour prior to service. Entombment will follow at Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley St. Pallbearers will include Tony Ferriello, Valentino Peluso, Pasquale Bovino, Joe Bruni, Antonino Cotroneo and Rocky Curatalo. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (6 Donald St. Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6). The Coutu Family in care of arrangements E.J. Coutu Co.
