GEORGETTE MARTHA HOGER (nee STUBBE) August 8, 1923 - April 15, 2009 With sad but thankful hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mother in her 85th year. Leaving behind to forever love and miss her are her children James (Michelle), Ronald (Lynne), Janice Rees, Patrick (Carol) and her grandchildren Carolyn Patenaude (Robert), Daniel (Kerry), Kevin (Michelle), Jason, Evan and Zachary Hoger, Scott, Timothy and Marla Rees, as well as her great-grandchildren Riley, Julia and Cole Patenaude, Chase, Mason and Kayleigh Hoger. Georgette will also be missed by her sisters Mary Demeyer, Rachel Remillard, Edna (Bernard) Tremblay, Bernice (Peter) Twerdun, and Diane (Ronald) Lamontagne, as well as her sister-in-law Nadia Stubbe and brothers-in-law, Mike Baron and Paul Baribeau. She was predeceased by her brothers William and Valere Stubbe, sisters Elsie Baron and Alice Baribeau, and in-laws Rene Demeyer, Wilfred Remillard and Jean Stubbe. Georgette was the loving wife of the late James Hoger who predeceased her in 1982. She is also predeceased by her son Glenn and her grandchildren Andrea Rees, Glen Hoger and Michael Hoger. Mom was a devoted wife and mother and outstanding Grandmother, who cherished her entire extended family of nieces, nephews and their children. Georgette was born and lived her entire life in St. Boniface. Mom faced the many challenges that life presented in a courageous way that was an inspiration to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed the many friends she made over the years through her membership in the Belgian Club and at bingo at St. Louis Centre. Thank you to all our family, friends and care givers who helped Mom these last difficult years. We appreciate the care and concern shown to our Mother. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 778 Archibald Street. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
