ABRAM (ABE) DYCK (published on April 18, 2009)

ABRAM (ABE) DYCK Abe passed away suddenly at home on April 14, 2009, at the age of 73. We have it on good authority that all the angels of heaven are rejoicing as his parents and friends are welcoming him home. Abe was born in Lowe Farm Manitoba on February 7, 1936. In his teen years Abe gave his life to the Lord and was baptized shortly thereafter. He moved to Winnipeg at the age of 17 to find work. He spent a good number of years in the bedding business, as well as being a partner of Mordyck Auctions with his close friend Dennis. Abe's love of music led him to teach himself guitar, which further led him to be in music ministries with Morrow Gospel Singers for many years. In his later years he played with Springs Strings and the sing -a long group. His easy going character and unique sense of humor was enjoyed by all who knew him. Abe and the love of his life Erna celebrated their 50th Anniversary this past July 20 along with his three children Kim(Ken) Morrow, Melanie (Brad) Knelsen, Shawn (Merris) Dyck as well as ten grandchildren, Karisa, Kara Lee and Kayla Morrow, Brittnie, Ashlyn, Laurisa, Trisha and Devon Knelsen, and Matthew and Rachel Dyck. Two great-grandchildren Sela and Josiah Morrow. Also grieving the loss is one brother, three sisters, his mother-in-law, nieces and nephews and many friends.
