| FLORENCE JOAN STACEY It is with great sadness, after a courageous battle with cancer, that we announce the passing of Florence Joan Stacey , on Saturday, April 25, at Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 90. Florence (Floss) (Flo) was born in Walsall Staffordshire, England in November of 1918. She was predeceased by her mother, Ethel Reading in 1980. Florence was married to William Younger from 1942 to the time of his death in 1970 and remarried in 1971 to John (Jack) Stacey until his death in 1997. She leaves to mourn; her children Joan (Gib) Thorson, Bill (Shelagh) Younger, Brett (Lori) Younger, Kim Younger, Jamie Younger and her grandchildren; Will, Courtney, Natasha, Caitlin and Robynn. Florence thoroughly enjoyed her many summers at both Grand and Winnipeg Beach. She loved to knit, play cards, play bingo and go casino gambling. She enjoyed watching baseball, curling, and golf. Florence was a life member of Prince Edward Legion #81, Ladies Auxiliary and she also loved dogs especially English Bull Dogs. She had a passion or need to know what her family was doing, where they were or where they were going! According to Florence's wishes, a private family service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home with a Come Go Celebration of her life to follow at a future date. A thank you to many close friends and neighbours, with a special thanks to WRHA Homecare Services and Palliative Care Program.
