ALLAN WAYNE SAWATZKY Peacefully with his family members by his side Wayne passed away after a short illness at the Concordia Hospital on April 29, 2009 at the age of 55 years. Wayne was born in Altona, MB there he spent his childhood growing up on his grandparents farm. There grandpa Newdoff showed him how to fish, hunt and camp which Wayne never forgot and went on to enjoy these things the rest of his life. At the age of nine, he moved to Elmwood and started attending River Elm School were he met many life long friends. While working at Fresh Water Fish he met and married his first wife Darlene, they started a family Angel, Chris, Ryan and bought a house on William Newton. Wayne teaching his sons how to hunt, fish and camp and teaching his daughter how to be a very nice young lady. Wayne's job in the construction field kept him away from home for months at a time, under the strain the marriage slowly ended. Being a strong country boy Wayne met Valorie a strong country Lady, whose passion for camping, fishing and hunting was the same as his. They became soulmates and spent many years together. Knowing Wayne all his life, I know he was never happier.
