| MILAGROS (MILA) PETERSON (nee LAYSON) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Milagros Mila Peterson on May 2, 2009. For years she battled kidney failure and the challenges of Dialysis but finally succumbed to Leukemia. She will be missed by her only son Michael (Angel) and her four grandchildren: Joshua, Aaron, Jaron and Kristen who served as her inspiration and strength through her illness. Lamay will be held on Thursday and Friday May 7, and 8, commencing at 6:00 p.m., prayers will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening and 7:30 p.m. on Friday evening at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Funeral Service will be held at Broadway Disciples United Church, 396 Broadway at Kennedy on Saturday, May 9 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Raymond Cuthbert presiding. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Garden, Filipino Gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Reception will be held at Mosaic Reception Centre after interment. Special thanks to the staff of the A6, D6 and B3 wards for their care and support and to Drs. Bernstein, Penner, Padua for their years of care and love.
