He met the love of his life, Marie and they married and moved to Germany for three years. After being transferred from Germany, they were stationed in Comox, BC. Francis found his greatest passion in fishing while in Comox. He also took up a hobby of making Buss Bombers and lures. Francis could talk for hours about his fishing days and all of his Big Catches . He was a quiet, gentle man and a special gift to those who knew him. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 19, at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 710 Roanoke, Street, Transcona, with Rev. Fr. Owen Steeves, presiding. Interment will take place at a later date in St. Laurent, MB. A special thank you to Father Dominique Kerbrat for his guidance, support and many years of friendship to Francis and our family. Thanks to all staff at Tache for making Francis feel at home and to Monique (2-ABC) for her support and caring in his time of need. Your thoughtfulness will not be forgotten.
