ISAAC THEODORE JOHN KOS (published on May 16, 2009)

ISAAC THEODORE JOHN KOS Isaac and his twin sister Grace were born prematurely on May 4, 2009 at St. Boniface Hospital. He was doing well all week, and his mom and dad had a beautiful time with him on Mother's Day. From out of nowhere with little understanding our little Isaac was consumed by an infection. Isaac died with his mom and dad holding him at 3:20 a.m. on May 11, 2009. While we are left wondering why, we must say good bye to a life that moved us to the depths of our being in just a matter of days. Maddox Kos (Isaac's big brother) who is four years old didn't get a chance to meet his brother, but had already fallen in love with him. Maddox's mom and dad, Alexandra and Jonathan Kos and precious baby Grace will forever miss their little Isaac and wonder who he would have become. Isaac has many people, here on earth that love him dearly. His cousins Jessica, Sara and Davis Kos-Whicher, and his Auntie Sue Kos; his cousin Eric Kos and his Uncle Greg Kos and Aunt Connie Kines; his cousins Neo and Xyon and Uncle Matthew and Aunt Irene Kiemeney; his cousins Kyle, Tyler and Ashley and Uncle Patrick and Aunt Kim Kiemeney; his surviving Grandparents John and Ann Kos and many dear friends of the family. So for now, we say good-bye to dear Isaac, and may he find eternal peace with his other Grandparents in heaven. Thank you to the NICU staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their steadfast support during this bitter sweet time. A special thanks to Dr. Alvaro and his team of Doctors for their efforts, and Michelle L., Michelle J. and Kim for helping us through the difficult night. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the NICU at St. Boniface Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home.
