ELAINE SHUSTER August 5, 1955 - June 6, 2009 Surrounded by her family, it is with deep sorrow and sadness we announce the passing of our daughter, sister, auntie and friend on Saturday, June 6, 2009. Elaine will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Esther, her brothers and sisters Judy Eschuk (John), Linda Newman (Les) Boca Raton Florida, Marshall and Brian (Robin-Ann). She also leaves to cherish her memory her nieces and nephews - Chas, Robert, Michael, Samantha, Tia, Bryce and extended family of aunts and cousins. Elaine is predeceased by her Baba and Zaida Lila and Charlie Levine and Baba Dasha Shuster-Garfinkel. Elaine started her career at the University of Manitoba Economics Department 1973. With over 32 years with the Government of Canada, Elaine saw many name changes with the departments she worked in. The constant in Elaine's life were the friends she had met along the way. Until her passing she continued contact with these friends. She will be sadly missed by all. Elaine loved to spend time with her family and friends. She loved to entertain guests in her home, ensuring they had a good time. She lived her life loving and caring for our mom. Everyone is at a loss for losing a truly wonderful person. Our family would like to thank all the staff at CancerCare Manitoba, St. Boniface Heart Failure Clinic and the staff on the 4th, 5th and 6th floors at the St. Boniface General Hospital for Elaine's care in her final months. Pallbearers are her sisters, brothers, nephews and brother-in-law - Judy, Linda, Marshall, Brian, Robert, Bryce, Chas and John. Honourary pallbearers are her dearest, closest, and lifelong friends Rhonda Gordon, Florence Zamick, Sharon Stokoloff, Claudette LaPlante and Arlene Kovacik.
