ISAAC I. BUHLER 1925 - 2009 On Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at his residence in Winkler, MB Isaac Buhler aged 83 years went to be with his Lord and Saviour. Isaac was a great man of faith; his life has had a deep spiritual impact on his family, friends and community. Together with his wife Sarah, they have prayed for each of their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren nearly every day. Isaac was also a great business man and gave his profits generously to the proclamation of the good news of Jesus' love and forgiveness for all people. Isaac had no fear of death and died in peace at his home which in turn began his new life in eternity with our Lord and Savior. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife, Sarah (nee Janzen) of Winkler; his mother, Elizabeth (nee Unger) of Winkler; two daughters, Verna and Ed Hoeppner of Morden, Rosella and Edwin Dueck of Plum Coulee, Sharon and Neil Klippenstein of Steinbach, Christine and Tommy Penner of Grunthal; one son, Leonard and Debbie Buhler of Abbotsford, BC; 21 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren as well as three sisters. He was predeceased by his father, Isaac W. Buhler; two sisters and one brother in infancy. Viewing will be (today) on Saturday at Wiebe Funeral Home 121 8th St. in Winkler from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Bergthaler Mennonite Church south on Hwy 32. Interment to follow at Westridge Memorial Gardens. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Isaac's memory to Boundary Trails Health Centre Palliative Care Unit Box 2000 Winkler, MB R6W 1H8.
